Fort Myers photographers are always on the lookout for stunning backdrops for their family photo sessions. This place turned out to be the perfect place for an outdoor photo session in Southwest Florida! While it’s one of my favorite places to visit with my own family, I never considered it to be a beautiful backdrop for family photos. Boy, was I wrong! The Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve was our location of choice, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful family to compliment such a lovely setting. Funny enough, the Slough Preserve was where I earned my first 1st Place award in photography many years ago as an amateur photographer. The prize was an annual parking sticker to all of the parks in Fort Myers, Sanibel, Captival, and surrounding areas, and it part of what pushed me to become a professional photographer!
Ah, enough about me. Back to the gorgeous T family! They really look like professional models, don’t they? Mom is a Principal at a local school, and Dad works in real estate. And those boys…how handsome are they?? The whole family was so wonderful, too! This session was done before Christmas (I know, I have a lot of catching up to do!), and I just love how the leaves were changing colors. This isn’t always the case here in Southwest Florida, so it’s always a treat. I am sharing a few of the gorgeous images from this family photo session. I hope you enjoy!
